Years later Winston Churchill regretted not taking the German offer seriously. To assume those who profited from prolonging the war at the cost of $1.6 trillion (2015 dollar) had their own nefarious agenda is not outlandish.

I am about half-way through it, and it certainly portrays an interesting story of life in Europe during World War Two.I love it because it is "easy" reading. You certainly did a lot of research, and gave the character very life like descriptions,based on the real "players" during the war.
