"If Allah Wills" is an expression that comes to us from the Muslim world ("insha'allah" in Arabic) and connotes the hope that God is in control of our lives and world events. Pastor Kent Philpott has been studying Islamic theology and practice for fifteen years, while maintaining his own deep Christian faith. This book is written for the Muslim reader to consider various aspects of his/her religion as found in the Qur'an and other traditional texts and cultural norms and compare them to what Jesus brings as found in the Bible and Christian history. Some topics considered are Tawhid, Gabriel, Paradise, Taqiyya, Jihad, Obedience, Women, the West, Homosexuality, the Sira, the Satanic Verses, and a Call to Reform. Philpott does not condemn Muslims or attack the tenets of Islam or the prophet Muhammad but reaches out with care and concern with an offer of the love and grace of Jesus. This book is an excellent resource for Christian evangelists and apologists and for all who desire to understand some of the most important issues of Islam.

In If Allah Wills, Pastor Kent Philpott engages in thoughtful, loving (yet challenging) dialogue with Muslim readers. Many books already contrast the teachings of Christianity and Islam, the Bible and Quran, Jesus and Mohammed, but few manage do so with the degree of intellectual honesty and respect that is displayed in If Allah Wills. It is a short and enjoyable read, and though Muslims are the intended audience, Christians who desire to understand the beliefs of their Muslim neighbors would do well to pick up this book. I highly recommend it. —Nasser al’Ahmad, former Sunni Muslim
This book is designed/written for both Christians and Muslims. It helps Christians to identify some issues that are important in understanding of and engagement with Islam. It challenges Muslims to think and reflect on those critical and fundamental issues. —Ebrahim Pakrooh (former Iranian Muslim), BA and MA London School of Theology, PhD Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary
Pastor Kent Philpott's If Allah Wills will surely prove to be required reading for both Muslim's seeking an insight into the Christian Faith and Christians seeking an insight into the mindset of Muslims. My prayer is that it will be owned by God to build needed bridges between both communities. I know of no other book quite like it. —Timothy Cross BA, BD, ThD
For those of us who seek to bridge the gap between the Muslim and the Christian views of the character and plan of God, or Allah, this little book is the perfect resource for initiating dialogue. It asks important questions, raises challenging issues, and provides insight from a Christian perspective, but the essential message of love and respect shines through every word. —Michelle Shelfer, CFO, Red Dot Trading Company
