About the Author

Elaine, John, Lori, Tally & Suzan are widowed people, each of whom went on to become group facilitators helping hundreds of widowed people over many years. Bob Baugher, Ph.D. is a Psychologist and college instructor who did his doctoral dissertation on Widowhood, teaches courses in Psychology and Death Education and has given more than 800 workshops on coping with grief. Margarita Suarez has worked with families in grief, has given hundreds of workshops, and was the director of the Seattle-based Widowed Information and Consultation Services (WICS).
