About the Author

Lisa Rizzo is the author of Always a Blue House (Saddle Road Press, 2016) and In the Poem an Ocean (BigTable Publishing, 2011).  Her work has also appeared in a variety of journals and anthologies such as Calyx Journal, 13th Moon, andDoveTales "Nature" An International Journal of the Arts (Writing for Peace, May 2015). Two of her poems received 1st and 2nd prizes in the 2011 Maggi H. Meyer Poetry Prize competition. She blogs at Poet Teacher Seeks World and can be reached at lisarizzopoetry.com.
