About Ryan Rector
Ryan is a fifth grader in the greater Los Angeles area who has big dreams of becoming a singer, actor, President of the United States and first person to visit Mars. Yes, she knows that those are a lot of jobs but she figures that if she lives a long life, she'll have plenty of time to do them all.
So, since Ryan doesn't have aspirations of being a writer then you may ask why is she writing books with her father? Well, she loves it because it's super fun. Writing books is just like writing songs and scripts. You have to think of a title, a beginning, a middle, and an ending. So, she figures all of this book writing will help her aspiring acting and singing career.
Currently, she is working on her first chapter book centering around candy and healthy foods. Also, she is working on a children's book detailing some of the attractions that Southern California offers for kids.
Ryan has been featured in several media outlets for her books including ABC7 Los Angeles local news as well as numerous book review sites.
So, that is pretty much all about Ryan. We hope you enjoy our books and keep your ears out for her singing.
About Clarence Rector
Clarence is a son, husband, and father. This joint venture to write books with his little girl, Ryan, is one of his greatest joys and accomplishments in life.
Clarence has primarily served in a management role throughout his career in the staffing, media, publication, and healthcare industries. However, as life changes, he began to find joy working with children with special needs as a practicing Speech-Language Pathologist. One of the perks of his current job is that he gets to "test" out all of Ryan's ideas for books with the children who receive therapy from him. That's called a double win.
