Vera Stewart is a well-known entrepreneur and businesswoman in Augusta, Georgia, thanks to her successful catering business, widely sold mail-order confections, summer cooking camp for children, and syndicated cooking and lifestyle show. Her leadership and business acumen have allowed her to mentor young people throughout her career, calling back to her origins as a home economics teacher. Today, The VeryVera Show is syndicated in several Eastern markets and VeryVera Cooking Camp is franchised in multiple cities outside of Augusta. Her accolades include Chamber of Commerce 1997 Small Business Person of the Year, CSRA Business Hall of Fame Laureate, two-time GABBY Merit Award winner, University of Georgia FACS Professional Achievement Award winner, and University of Georgia FACS 100 Honoree. Vera lives in Augusta with her husband, Andy, an attorney, and her growing family.
