The mischievous Goose goes awry while counting, then again while singing the ABCs. The more sensible Giraffe tries to set things straight. This picture book is both wacky and educational for toddlers and beginning readers, with an unforgettable surprise ending.

There is so much that is wonderful in this book - a very silly goose, a patient giraffe, and the kind of word play that always evokes giggles from children and those who love them. I predict that parents and grandparents - and children young and old - will be chanting "one, two, . . . knee" with great glee for years to come. --Lynn Beck Brallier, Ph.D., professor and former dean of the Benerd School of Education; interim dean of the University of the Pacific Library
I LOVE this book! With children's books, a key to success is making sure they also appeal to the adult reader. I can see having so much fun reading this book over and over! The very gentle, inviting, and humorous way of illustrating the animals makes a real human connection. My class LOVED it! They were giggling throughout, especially at the last page. --Sheri Carney, teacher at Swarthmore Presbyterian Nursery Day School, ages 3 to K
As a Pre-K teacher, I rarely come across a book that uses both letters and numbers in a way that is so humorously appealing to children. --David Dadich, Jr., teacher at the Malvern School of Richboro
