Synopsis
Would it be like our Father in heaven to choose to abort one of His children—never allowing for that one even the potential for life? Is this the nature of who He is? Sadly, because of an overreach in Calvinist teachings, with regard to the working out of God’s sovereignty, the character of the Father has been so maligned. God is sovereign. About the Author
Pamela K. Gourley is a lover and follower of Jesus Christ, and a daughter who has found a rest in knowing the love of her heavenly Father. Pamela is also a wife and a homemaker, a mother of 7 and a grandmother of 9 (and counting), a caregiver, an intercessor, and a ready witness for the Lord wherever she goes. Pamela carries a strong love for God’s Word and, consequently, a jealousy over the careful handling of its life-giving truth. She searches out the Scriptures, having her confidence in the Holy Spirit’s promised ability to teach and to make things clear. Feeling called by the Lord both to follow Him in a journey of learning and to “shout out” to others what He would unfold, she puts forth this writing to the honoring of His name.
