Synopsis
Often students aim to prepare extensively for their SSAT exam, yet the number of available resources for practice is not very readily available. This can prove to be problematic, as the caliber of questions on the SSAT can be extremely challenging – often to the point of being very abstract and well above the grade level of the test-taking student. This book has been developed with these understandings in mind, noting specifically that, though the curricular concepts tested have remained similar, SSAT mathematics questions have become more challenging in recent years. To that effect, the practice tests in this book contain a number of intricate questions that require deep, abstract thought as well as computational mastery. If anything, the harder questions here may even be more challenging than those a student may face on a real SSAT exam. This book is intended for anyone hoping for a good math challenge, with a focus on those who plan to take the SSAT upper exam.

About the Author
Justin Grosslight is an academic entrepreneur interested in examining relationships between science and business. He is especially intrigued by how networks operate (quantitatively and qualitatively), both from historical and from contemporary perspectives. He holds degrees in history and mathematics from Stanford, a history of science degree from Harvard, and has published in all three fields. He is passionate about business, entertainment, academia, and writing, and enjoys helping talented youth thrive in their intellectual pursuits.
