Thank you for trusting me with your time and resources. I hope you had fun reading this story. It's been my favorite to write. Our hearts are funny creatures sometimes, aren't they? I had my share of bad dates, and likely I'm the villain of someone's story about their bad date with me. My friends and I had fun brainstorming the dates for this book. But it was tough to end this novel, because I liked the characters so much. Miss Ruby,Nubbin, Tara, and of course Sam & Elinor. I really liked Big Roy as a loving father figure. If you don't have that, remember you have a heavenly Father who knows the number of hairs on your head and holds you lovingly in the palm of His hand. He won't fail you.

Janet W. Ferguson grew up in Mississippi and received a degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Mississippi. She has served as a children's minister and a church youth volunteer. An avid reader, she worked as a librarian at a large public high school. Janet and her husband have two grown children, one really smart dog, and a few cats that allow them to share the space.
