About the Author

Karl West continues his career of over thirty-five years in the aerospace industry, engaged as an R&D engineer and project leader.

His wide experience base originates from working with various-size project teams (3 to 30 people) and organizations (20 to 5,000 people).

Karl believes in a team-centered, hands-on approach to maximize performance and efficiency. He's led numerous projects, often starting with only a concept and working through to customer delivery in the face of challenging cost and schedule constraints that have required effective performance by the entire team.

Karl has a keen interest in observing human nature, as well as identifying and implementing best practices.
