About the Author

Hello. I am Normandy D. Piccolo. I am a published writer, book reviewer, advertising copywriter and freelance journalist. I have written several books, appeared on TV Talk Shows and in Mom Blogs, written radio scripts for the "Click It or Ticket" national campaign featuring Charlie Daniels and The Chicks (formally known as the Dixie Chicks). I have also written radio/TV scripts for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. I was also nominated for a D&AD Award for my work on "Operation Lifesaver".

My song, "My Bestfriend Ted", received continuous airplay on Chicago radio. Additionally, I worked on the GodSpeaks Billboard campaign contributing campaign concepts, along with scripts for the televised cartoon, Auto-B-Good. I am a participant of the Hillsborough County Anti-Bullying Advisory Committee. My latest book, Bullied: Dying to Fit In was nominated for the Advocacy / Social Justice Award for the 2019 In the Margins Book Award.

My book 'Why is Kristyn A. Kutter?' made the 2021 In the Margins Book Award TOP 10 List for Fiction/Non-Fiction and the Fiction Recommendation List for 2021.
