La mirada de Pascualina es el primer tomo de la trilogía de Erda, del escritor venezolano Armando Córdova Olivieri. Pascualina, una niña que poseía poderes telequinéticos en presencia de los cauces del agua, nació en El Tisure y crece como un solitario ser, quien se debate entre el anonimato y la necesidad de ayudar a los demás utilizando de forma secreta sus mágicas atribuciones. El Tisure es un sitio real en Mérida, Venezuela, declarado patrimonio cultural del país durante el gobierno del presidente Luís Herrera Cámpins. Armando Córdova Olivieri, escritor y economista, quien nace en 1960, en una Venezuela ansiosa de crecimiento y libertad. Estudia su maestría en Alemania y regresa a su país natal como profesor de Econometría y Estadística en la Universidad Central de Venezuela. Simultáneamente, diseña y crea la Oficina de Programación y Análisis Macroeconómico (OPAM) del Ministerio de Hacienda, la cual dirigió hasta el año 2000. Una vez iniciada la nefasta era del chavismo, el autor se dirige al interior del país y así nace La Mirada de Pascualina. Habiendo conocido en su temprana adultez a los artistas Juan Félix Sánchez y Epifania Gil, con quienes vive una temporada en El Tisure, forja con ellos una entrañable amistad; y de los recuerdos de anécdotas y vivencias, surgen las notas y cuentos que adquieren forma en una trama fabulada desarrollada durante la dictadura de Juan Vicente Gómez, en los primeros cuarenta años del siglo XX en Venezuela. El eje central de las acciones es la heroica construcción de la carretera trasandina, por presos de la tristemente célebre cárcel de La Rotunda, héroes anónimos de la historia. A la mirada de Pascualina le siguen dos tomos: -Diáspora-, obra basada en las vicisitudes de la diáspora venezolana y -Sigurd de Erdianópolis-, en notas y esbozos, se desarrolla en un remoto futuro y con una pausada alegoría sobre la dependencia de la sociedad a su entorno natural y el debate de los efectos del cambio climático sobre los seres humanos.
