NY Writers Coalition Press is proud to present Write from Our Hearts, a collection of writing and art by members of the NY Writers Coalition creative writing workshop for students at Brooklyn East Collegiate Middle School. Brooklyn East Collegiate’s Middle School Writing Group is made possible by the Art A Catalyst For Change Initiative, supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council. Art A Catalyst For Change was created by Council Member Laurie Cumbo to include art as part of a comprehensive city-wide anti-gun violence effort.
