He holds a master's degree in taxation from Rutgers University and is currently an Assistant Director of State and Local Tax for a publicly held Fortune 500 company in the New York metropolitan area.
• Christy Pinheiro, EA, ABA®-Christy Pinheiro is an Enrolled Agent and an Accredited Business Accountant. Christy was an accountant for two private CPA firms and for the State of California before going into private practice. 
• Kolleen Wells, EA-Kolleen Wells is an Enrolled Agent and a Certified Bookkeeper who specializes in tax preparation for individuals and small businesses. She has worked in the accounting field for many years, including positions at a CPA office and at the county assessor's office.
• Joel Busch, CPA, JD-Joel Busch is a tax professor at San Jose State University, where he teaches courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Previously, he was in charge of tax audits, research, and planning for one of the largest civil construction and mining companies in the United States.

Before taking the real exam, I did the practice exams in the additional EA Review Workbook (purchased at same time as this book). I feel the material adequately prepared me for success in passing the exam.

This is the only book you need. Suika YutakaI prefer self-study over any type of courses. I have a very demanding job, and this made me greatly appreciate the concise and to-the-point style of this book. Also note that this is the most reasonably priced full (i.e. covering all three parts of the exam) review I know of. Greatest praise.
