Karen Sonday, M.A. Ms. Sonday has been an OG practitioner since 1983 and opened Orton Gillingham Reading Specialists in 2003. She is a Fellow of the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators (AOGPE), a founding member of Orton-Gillingham of Minnesota (OGM), a Certified Teacher Trainer with the International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council (IMSLEC) and a Certified Dyslexia Therapist with the International Dyslexia Association (IDA). She has trained teachers extensively in OG and the Sonday System in the US and internationally. Pam Mehlin Ms. Mehlin has been with Orton Gillingham Reading Specialists since 2007. She's logged more than 10,000 hours as an OG and Sonday System practitioner since 2001, working with students of all ages and skill levels. Her specialty is high level language structure and is a frequent co-presenter at our Professional Development Seminars. Additionally, she writes new curriculum and heads up our Publications department: Laughing Ogre Press.
