About the Author

Dr. N. James Brooks, Jr. was Born in 1948. His interest in the Flood began when he was a boy and broke open a rock on his grandfather's farm and found an entire petrified fish inside. He is Married to a wonderful woman and he has the best children and grandchildren in the world. Dr. Brooks has an earned doctorate in higher education. He has previously taught U.S. History both on-line and at two separate universities. Now retired, he spends his time with his wife and studying and researching U.S. and ancient history and the Bible.

When I was a biology major at a state university I was puzzled by the theory of evolution. There were way too many “Possibilities”, “What Ifs”, “It could have beens”, “Perhaps there was”, and other vagueries. I was raised in a Christian home and heard the Bible and stories of the Bible read to me from a very early age but have never been a true student of the Bible. I really appreciate Dr. Brooks spending the countless hours it took to research the historic basis of the Bible. The sources he has quoted were written by men that told the bold truth of their findings. They did not worry about what others thought of their statements. They told “the rest of the story”. The Holy Bible is the most important and significant book anyone can own. This book is definitely in second place. It has no competition for that spot! It answers questions I have pondered since childhood. Theologians, Pastors, Priests, and all students of the Bible should own a copy of this book. Also Scientists, Biologists, and anyone with an inquiring mind will find this to be a very educational and fulfilling read. - Ed Butler
