At the age of 26, Heather became a head collegiate basketball coach. Throughout her 18 years as a college coach, she has reached close to 250 career victories and been named Coach of the Year four times within three different conferences. Most recently, Coach Macy became the winningest coach in the history of East Carolina Women's Basketball. Heather received the honor of being inducted into the Hall of Fame at both her high school and college. In 2017, she became one of the few coaches in the country that is EQ Certified.
