Six Ways looks at how and why to build relationships in all of the worlds, manifest and unmanifest (what Wachter calls the Field) that allow us to perform effective magic. Effective magic changes us on the levels of mind, soul, and spirit, while improving our real-world circumstances.

  The focus is on finding pathways to the Otherworlds and building symbiotic relationships with the Others (powers, spirits, and allies) that dwell there. Sorcery then becomes the practice of working within those relationships to bring about the changes we seek in our lives.

About the Author

Aidan Wachter has been actively involved in magical practice since the 1980's. His work reflects a wide ranging eclectic and non-dogmatic approach with influences from many paths. He writes with a focus on the practice of the craft as a learnable set of skills that can be developed rather than as an innate set of talents that must be inherited or granted to the seeker. Each book is a field guide rather than a piece of philosophy.
