There are many Bible translations in existence today and each one has its purpose. Unfortunately, I find that there is often, if not always, the feeling that something is lacking from the text. That is not to say that God's word is lacking, but to realize that there is a lot of information which does not translate from Greek into English. While this information is not crucial for us to understand Christ and the work that He did for us on the Cross, we are left with numerous questions that I wonder if we could answer were we to have a translation that captured the fullness of Ancient Greek. The Pure Word Bible is the first widely disseminated translation I am aware of which accomplishes this. Personally, I have been astounded to discover that our modern translations to not carry over simple information like who is speaking or whether an activity is a work of God or of man. This, to me, is where the Pure Word translation truly distinguishes itself from anything else I have encountered. By incorporating additional English to the text which reflects the who, what, when and why of the Greek language this Bible makes me feel as though I a encountering much of the Bible all over again for the first time. One of my favorite aspects of this translation is that when the Greek indicates that a particular action or activity is a work of God not a work of man, the word is capitalized. For instance, in the Our Father prayer forgiveness is translated "Remember" and it is capitalized to indicate that forgiveness is a work God does in and through us. These kind of revelations help me to see and understand how much more I need God and how much He wants to work in and through us. This Bible is a must have for anyone wishing to better understand God and the Bible without having to become a scholar in Biblical Greek. --Pastor Tom Quirk

The Pure Word is an invaluable tool for truly understanding Gods instructions to His people. It is an eye opening and refreshing interpretation of the true words of our Heavenly Father. While a little difficult to interpret at times, (due to its complete rawness) it is amazing and exciting to know the true meaning behind the New Testaments instructions that the Lord has given us. I prefer to read the Pure Word first over my regular New King James Bible, because when I read the Pure Word I know that I am reading Gods actually words and I can be assured that the text is not altered in any way by man.
