Today we face attacks on our identity like never before. Traumas and life struggles tempt us to become offended with God and buy into the enemy’s lie that He is not a good, loving and all-powerful Father. As a result, we believe lies about ourselves. If we don't believe the truth of who He is, how can we believe the truth of who we are, as those created in His image? Through the author’s powerful and raw testimony, you will learn:· A Biblical strategy for overcoming powerful assaults of the enemy· How to move past offense and rediscover God’s goodness· Keys to understanding your God-given design, destiny and callingIncludes a guide for application, a devotional, and powerful scriptures to recover and establish a rock-solid identity. Be inspired to believe afresh in God's extravagant love and discover who He says you are.

Kristen Smeltzer is “an ordinary girl with an extravagant God.” She holds a B.A. from Spring Arbor University in Spring Arbor, Michigan. While single, Kristen served on short-term missions with YWAM and also once served as a youth pastor. Kristen met and married her husband Richard in 1990, while working as an elementary school teacher. Since then, in addition to raising three sons, Kristen has continuously chosen to step out of her comfort zone and jump headlong into unknown territories—to bring hope to the hopeless and God-given identity to His people. Today, Kristen is a writer and a speaker who has led Bible studies, conducted seminars, and who speaks in churches and at retreat centers. Kristen’s message will open eyes to the true nature of God and inspire hearers to engage afresh the Lover of their souls. Kristen and Richard have three grown sons and one daughter-in-law. They live near Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. For more information about Kristen Smeltzer or to contact her for speaking engagements, go to: www.KristenSmeltzer.com

Kristen Smeltzer has written a riveting personal story of contending for identity in God--a mother's account of her son's spiritual torment and the "sifting" that God allows as preparation for greater Kingdom realms. A must read!
