Synopsis

Nickolas Morgan Jr. (Junior) should have been the happiest man alive after marrying his second wife and having another child that he wanted for years. About the Author

Diana Carter was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She has a Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Accounting from Detroit College of Business, Master's in Human Resources Management from Davenport University, Master's in Management from University of Phoenix, and working towards her DBA (Doctoral of Business Administration) in Organizational Leadership. She have worked for Adhesive Systems, Inc., St. Martha's Episcopal Church, Cengage Learning/Gale, and currently working at Faurecia Interiors. Diana is a divorced mother of three and grandmother of twelve. Diana is an author of nine titles, four of which were published through Outskirts Press: The three-book Broken Promises series and single title Dark Revenge: The Trey Taylor Story. She founded Let's Do This Publishing in 2017 where she published her last five titles. These titles include the Spin-off to the Broken Promises series: In The Name of Justice: The Erica Blackstone Story, and the four-book The Sister Factor series. Diana hobbies include reading, writing, and bowling. Her first title Broken Promises: Shattered Dreams was published on April 10, 2014. She has participated in many bowling leagues and while at Cengage Learning she coordinated an employee bowling league as part of the activities program. She is currently working on her tenth book, a Spin-off to The Sister Factor series.

Review

The Sister Factor: Diamond's Fight for Justice is the first book in a series and my first book by this author. I loved the real-life depiction of family life specifically the interaction between siblings. The book was well-written, the characters well-developed and the plot kept my attention. Thank you Ms. Carter for an enjoyable book. I'm on to book 2.

Diana Carter has done it again with the second book of The Sister Factor series. I love the family portrayed in this series is not unlike a lot of families today. They love each other. They have disagreements. They have problems. However, in the end they are there for each other.
In this installment, Dior faces a tragedy involving her daycare which ultimately leads her to reveal a longtime secret. Dior's brother, Junior, faces an unexpected challenge with his wife, Jalissa, that also has an impact on their son. The family sticks together to help resolve these issues and others as the Sister Factor series continues.
