About the Author:

Jeff Schimmel has been a Writer/Producer since 1986—with his career beginning just before his graduation from law school. Jeff first sold a Cold War spy movie, then collaborated on two screenplays with Rodney Dangerfield and Harold Ramis. Since then, Jeff has worked on highly-rated sitcoms, numerous sketch comedy series and specials, sold a World War Two story to Steven Spielberg, provided script doctoring services, and has written, produced and developed dozens of screenplays and TV projects for ABC, NBC, FOX, HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, Comedy Central, MTV, CMT, Dreamworks, Warner Brothers, 20th Century Fox, Lionsgate, MGM/UA, and many more, plus programs for Canada, Russia, Israel and Bermuda. Jeff has lectured at several prestigious universities and film schools, and since 2010, Jeff has taught his two-day Maximum Screenwriting seminar in cities around the country.
