Synopsis
Son of Anger follows Albert “Al” Ornfel, a young man meant for land, marriage, and a quiet life—until a prophetic dream and a betrayal by his closest friend strip him of his name and drive him into exile. Hunted by the Odio Magisterium and haunted by visions of a skeletal figure called Cygnus, Al flees north into a world of forgotten magic, fractured loyalties, and ancient enemies stirring from myth. Trained in the lost martial discipline of the Warrior’s Way, Al forges unlikely bonds—including with a streetwise orphan and a strangely sentient wolf pup—while his own powers awaken into something both miraculous and terrifying. As the nomadic clans of the frozen north face siege and a legendary citadel becomes the last barrier protecting a dwindling magical seal, Al is forced into a role he never wanted: war leader, symbol of prophecy, and the final shield against a resurgent evil. But prophecy cuts both ways, and the closer Al comes to the truth of his bloodline, the more he must fear what he was made to be—because saving the world may require him to become the very monster his enemies intended.
