Synopsis
Dreams are mysterious, wonderful moments we experience when we sleep, and sometimes, just sometimes, we're lucky enough to remember them when we wake. Scottie has the best dreams.
One night, Scottie dreams she is walking a grassy path lined with flowers. The most incredible colors and scents surround her, and as she frolics with the butterflies, a beautiful stranger appears. Scottie and this unknown person walk the path together, and the stranger shares stories from Scottie's life. As the dream progresses, the stranger begins to fade away, leaving Scottie with one last sentiment: that she will always be there, listening and watching over her. When Scottie wakes, she shares the story of the beautiful stranger with her mother. Amazed, Scottie's mother tells Scottie of guardian angels, who guide us every day.
Are You There? introduces the concept of angels to young readers, exploring how the forces watching over us are always by our sides.

About the Author
Barbara Xavier is a retired elementary school educator who began researching dreams and angels many years ago. Are You There? is her first children's book of the series You are Never Alone. She currently lives in Idaho.
