Marcus Hutter has been Professor at the Australian National University for 20+ years (fulltime till 2019 and honorary since then).His research has broadly centered around the information-theoretic foundations of inductive reasoning and reinforcement learning, which has resulted in 200+ publications and numerous awards and patents. As a polymath, his 30+ year R\&D career ranged from medical software development, to physics, mathematics, computer science, philosophy, artificial intelligence, and more recently AGI's economic, political, and social implications.His two previous books on "Universal Artificial Intelligence" (2005/2024) develop the first sound and complete theory of super-intelligent machines (ASI).
