Mary Deal, a native of Walnut Grove in California's Sacramento RiverDelta, resides in Scottsdale, Arizona. She was Founder and past President ofKauai Writer's Roundtable. She is an Amazon best-selling and award-winningauthor and Pushcart Prize nominee; also an artist, photographer, and formereditor of a print magazine and newspaper columnist.
