He is the pioneer to develop "CrookletTransform" in building a platform for 'Third-generation CurveletTransform' in overcoming the drawbacks of Second-generation Wavelet andCurvelet Transforms. He started his career as Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Carnegie MellonUniversity, Pennsylvania, United States. He continued to render hisservice as Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science,University of Cambridge, United Kingdom. He further served as Professorat Nanyang Technological University, Singapore for the School ofComputer Science and Engineering. He completed his Postdoc fromDartmouth College, United States.
