About the Author

Siddharth has been a professional software engineer for over 15 years since he got his master's degree in Computer Science. His passion for software development began when he was in 5th grade.

Thirty years later, with his son now in 5th grade, he is disappointed that programming is not a part of standard school curriculum and that is how his book was born. He is now working on a followup book with his son.

Currently Sidd works with leading edge JavaScript at a Technology Startup. He lives with his family in Charlottesville, VA and often works from home in his pajamas.
