Elle est née dans une ville frontalière entre le Mexique et les États-Unis d’un père américain et d’une mère anglaise. Elle a grandi en Alaska et a fréquenté un lycée privé proche de San Francisco. Elle est diplômée de l'Université de Californie avec une majeure en littérature et histoire européennes modernes et une mineure en évolution des primates. Elle a travaillé pour l'Université de Californie pendant 25 ans en tant qu'analyste de recherche dans le domaine de la biologie moléculaire. Elle a dirigé plusieurs séries de lectures. Elle a publié plus de 100 poèmes, principalement en Californie du Nord. Elle a donné plus de 100 lectures et 30 lectures à la télévision et radio. Elle a publié plusieurs livres dont Eskimo Pie Girl Dreams, Raining All Over, Les poèmes de Cook Inlet, Le passage des frontières, 200 haiku de San Juan Ridge pour Lew Welch, Sous la pluie, 92 Berrichon Haiku et En Suivant Einar (un livre duo-langue dans français et anglais). Elle a traduit un livre de poèmes de Véronique Joyaux intitulé Sillages Improbables / Improbable Traces. Elle est chef d'eskimopie.net, publiant d'art, de poésie et de prose depuis 2002. Rebecca Morrison lives in France and is transforming a 150-y.-o. house into an art gallery/ poetry salon (illuminationsgalerie.wordpress.com). She was born in a border town between Mexico and the U.S. to an American father and an English mother. She grew up in Alaska and attended a private co-ed liberal high school in the San Francisco Bay Area. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of California with a major in Modern European Literature and History and a minor in Primate Evolution. She worked for the University of California for 25 years as a Research Analyst in the field of molecular biology. She was the director of several reading series: Poetry in the Arboretum, Hot Poetry in the Park, and Literary Lectures. She has published over 100 poems, mainly in Northern California. She has given over 100 readings and has performed 30 times on television and radio stations. She has published several books including Eskimo Pie Girl Dreams, Raining All Over, The Cook Inlet Poems, Border Crossing, 200 San Juan Ridge Haiku for Lew Welch, Under the Rain, 92 Berrichon Haiku and Following Einar (in French and English). She translated a book of poems by Véronique Joyaux entitled, Sillages Improbables/Improbable Traces. She is the editor of eskimopie.net, publishing art, poetry and prose since 2002.
