Looking beyond the dominant paradigms, it analyses the institutional changes resulting from strategies of daily risk management in an environment characterised by violent competition across country borders.
About the Author
Timothy Raeymaekers is Lecturer in Political Geography at Universität Zürich. He is co-editor of Conflict and Social Transformation in Eastern DR Congo (2004) and Violence on the Margins: State, Conflict, and Borderlands (2013), and has published numerous journal articles.
