We take it for granted that a person persists over time: when we make plans, we assume that we will carry them out; when we punish someone for a crime, we assume that she is the same person as the one who committed it. About the Authors
Georg Gasser is a scientific researcher in the Department of Philosophy, University of Innsbruck. He is the editor of Personal Identity and Resurrection (2010).
Matthias Stefan is a scientific researcher in the Department of Philosophy, University of Innsbruck. He has published papers on the ontological commitments of physicalism, personal identity and substance dualism.
