Review:
"BECOMING A MASTER STUDENT is the quintessential tool for students wishing to improve their learning skills. It's friendly, fun, and imaginative. It takes students from the most basic level to the most technologically advanced resources, if they wish to go there. It befriends the reader with a "let me put my arm around you and show you the way" kind of attitude. BAMS lets students know that their struggles and failures are common struggles and failures. In spite of what they've done before, they can improve if they practice these suggestions."
"I have found that our acceptance and retention rate has started to improve over the last two years, and since I teach the seminar class, I can say that BECOMING A MASTER STUDENT and the course has assisted me in improving the chances for our freshman to succeed during the freshman year, but continue on as upperclassman and succeed there as well."
"BECOMING A MASTER STUDENT is chock full of excellent strategies and skills from thousands of college students all over the world, and, most importantly, BECOMING A MASTER STUDENT helps students of all ages (16--83) learn to APPLY these strategies beginning the first day of class to all their other classes that prepare them for their dream career."
"A must have resource for all entering students with real, hands on strategies they can use in and out of class. BECOMING A MASTER STUDENT encourages reflection and practice of skills and strategies."
"Throughout the years, I have looked at just about every Student Success text published and I have not found a better one than BECOMING A MASTER STUDENT."
