The citizens will welcome this, no doubt, and may wish for a similar list for summer recreation. At the beginning of this mimeographed report are given the names and addresses of all the Park Commissioners; at the end the names, locations and means of access of the public parks, playgrounds and gymnasiums are listed by Boroughs. The main portion of the list is arranged alphabetically by the name oi the sport, while the places are entered by Boroughs. Another Police Journal We wish to call attention to a monthly police journal which was not included in the list published in the issue of March 23. It may be read in this Library: The Detective. Al Dunlap, Editor and Manager, 1029 South Wabash Avenue, Chicago, 111. This magazine was established in 1885, and is "he only official publication of its kind." It is the official organ of the International Association of Chiefs of Police, International Association for Identification, National Bureau of Identification, and a large number of State Associations. Each issue contains photographs, descriptions, and records of criminals, and missing persons for whom rewards are offered.
