Edmund Husserl is regarded as one of the most influential philosophers of the twentieth century and the founder of phenomenology. Dermot Moran is Professor of Philosophy at University College, Dublin. He is the author of Introduction to Phenomenology (Routledge 2000). Sir Michael Dummett is Professor Emeritus at New College, Oxford. He is the author of several works including Frege and Other Philosopher and The Seas of Language.
