Thomas Hall grew up in Scituate on the coast of Massachusetts Bay. He is an avid wreck diver and historian. He was featured in a BBC documentary on the TW Lawson, the world's only seven-masted schooner, and he published a book about the ship. Hall also serves as a Trustee with the Scituate Maritime and Mossing Museum.
