On the other hand, if the force of the circulation and sensibility are wished to be increased in a limb, keep it limber, and call the others into activity, by elevating and extending them, and the desired result will follow. If general depression is wanted, after one or two limbs have been extended for a short time, cautiously reduce them, and leave the whole body...
