It is not our purpose to describe their lives, their insatiable avarice, their greed of power, their insufferable pride, their grinding tyranny, and utter contempt of their people, and their abandoned profligacy; it suffices to tell the reader that they claim to be gods and we leave them to conceive how abhorrent and infamous must be their yoke."
