Synopsis

The Lone Ranger and Tonto ride into Beacon City just after Tom Turner's publishing officers are destoyed and he is nearly killed by Cardigan's gunslingers. The current Sheriff Tweed is a good man turned weak, ruined by liquor and hard times. The townsfolk call him 'Tumblewkkd' and Ace Cardigan calls his shots. Can the Lone Ranger turn the derelict sheriff into a man again and put a fallen town back on its feet?

About the Author

Born in Buffalo, New York, American author Francis Hamilton Striker created some of the most indelible characters present in pop culture today, including The Lone Ranger and The Green Hornet, both of which have enjoyed tremendous success on broadcast radio and television, in comic books, and as film adaptations and novelizations. A prolific writer, Striker once produced 156 Lone Ranger scripts in a single year, while simultaneously writing stories for The Green Hornet, submitting comic strips and working on novelizations of The Lone Ranger. Striker died in a 1962 car accident. He was working on a historical novel titled One More River, which was published posthumously.
