Jose Ballesteros teaches at St. Mary's College of Maryland and his Ph.D. is on Golden Age Spanish literature. Mark Harpring teaches Spanish at the University of Puget Sound. He is the author of the Mosaicos testing program and holds a Ph.D. in Nineteenth-Century Spanish literature. Maria Francisca Paredes Mendez is a native speaker from Spain and teaches Spanish at Western Washington University. Her doctorate focuses on Spanish literature from the 20th century. She is the author of the Temas and Plazas CD-ROMs.
