About the Author

James G. Hillwig, Jr. has taught for over twenty years at the Crawford County Career & Technical Center in Meadville PA. He is an adjunct professor for Edinboro University and the Community College of Allegheny County. He has a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Vocational Education Level II certification from Indiana University, Bachelor of Arts from Edinboro University, he holds all Level I and Level II National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) certifications, he received the U.S. Airforce Technology Education “Outstanding Teacher of the Year” award for 8 years in a row, and he is a certified Fanuc Robotics Instructor. He owns his own Tool shop and has been awarded a patent for a tool he invented.
