Synopsis
When Archangel Michael returned to Heaven through the valley of the shadow of death, he saw that the demons had established a permanent presence. They were stealing souls from the angelic side of the river. Enraged, Michael refused his order to return. Instead he chose to stand on the riverbank between the darkness and the light. He was joined by his brother Gabriel and half of his warriors. Together they founded the city of St Peter's Gate in the renamed 'Valley of Angels'. They vowed to defend the human souls both good and bad from the demons until the end of days. After a thousand years his warriors had depleted and been replaced by humans who were unable to enter the gate. His innocent decision to pull a small child called Avalon from the river had the potential to change everything. Years after that fateful day, Michael and Gabriel's prayers for reinforcements were answered, but not quite in the way they had expected. Could Michael keep her safe or would the demon shadows succeed?
