Jim Benton is an award-winning author and artist. You may know some of the other things he's made, like It's Happy Bunny, Dear Dumb Diary, Franny K. Stein, Victor Shmud, and more. He's created a TV series, written books, and produced a movie, and he always did everything his parents told him to do. Pretty much. Jim lives in Michigan with his wife and kids and can be found online at jimbenton.com.
"Benton's artwork is filled with bold colors and manic energy, which matches the zany story lines. VERDICT: This series is like Pinky and the Brain for a new generation, and those who enjoyed the first book will definitely want to read this one." - School Library Journal
"Fans of Benton's first collection will probably enjoy this one even more (and hope for a third)." - Kirkus Reviews
"Another great addition to the Catwad series. This is fun series full of humor, great illustrations and more. If you have never read this series before you will be laughing out loud as you do! One of the things I love about this character is that he is snarky, but it is a snarky that you will love. Check this great book out!" - Dad of Divas
