About the Author:

Colin McInnes is Director of the Centre for Health and International Relations (CHAIR) at Aberystwyth University, UK and UNESCO Professor of HIV/AIDS, Education and Health Security in Africa. He has published widely on the international politics of global health and has advised governments, international organisations and civil society.

Adam Kamradt-Scott is Senior Lecturer in the Centre for International Security Studies, Department of Government and International Relations, University of Sidney, Australia. Adam has previously worked as a health professional, political adviser and public servant in Australia and has published a number of articles and book chapters on pandemic preparedness and health security.

Kelley Lee is Professor of Global Health Policy in the Faculty of Health Sciences, Simon Fraser University, Canada and London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, UK. Her research and teaching focuses on the impacts of globalisation on communicable and non-communicable diseases, and the implications for global governance.

Anne Roemer-Mahler is a Lecturer in International Relations and a Fellow at the Centre for Global Health Policy at the University of Sussex, UK. Her work focuses on the role of pharmaceutical companies from India in access to medicines and vaccines.

Simon Rushton is a Faculty Research Fellow in the Department of Politics at the University of Sheffield, UK. He has written widely on the global politics of health, especially international responses to AIDS and issues around health, security and conflict. He edits the journal Medicine, Conflict & Survival and is an Associate Fellow of the Centre on Global Health Security at Chatham House.
