Moore wraps up the saga of his updated pulp-hero Tom Strong and his America's Best Comics superhero line with this final collection of the popular series. By this point Moore was farming out the scripting duties, and while the substitutes' efforts were consistently more engaging than standard superhero fare, they almost invariably failed to duplicate the pinpoint balancing of homage and innovation that Moore effortlessly achieved. Fortunately, for the final story Moore returned, joined by original series artist Chris Sprouse, for a satisfying wrap-up featuring nothing less^B than the end of the world. Gordon Flagg
