About the Author

Robert D. Smith is an Associate Professor Emeritus of Industrial Technology at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, Connecticut. His manufacturing industry experience includes work as a tool designer, quality control engineer, and chief manufacturing engineer. He is also co-author of Delmar's bestselling Mathematics for Machine Technology book.
