About the Author

Mary Ellen Pennisi-Vazzana has worked both as a journalist and as a technical writer. Mary Ellen is the Lead Technical Writer for the Autodesk Building Systems product line. The Autodesk Building Mechanical and Autodesk Building Electrical Concepts Guides have both won the Distinguished award from the Society of Technical Communications (STC). Her work as the sole writer for Auotdesk CAD Overlay produced as award of Excellence from the STC, an award of Distinction, and an STC International award. The CAD Overlay manual was also given a positive review in Cadalyst magazine. Mary Ellen has written AOTC courseware training for Autodesk Land Development Desktop and Autodesk Architectural Desktop. Mary Ellen is AutoCAD Certified.
