In this book I have treated approximately three dozen paranormal phenomena whose reality, to me, seems to be sufficiently established by the volume of evidence available for them from various sources. Some of the phenomena treated are the product of myths and legends, others are of an anecdotal nature, and some have been rigorously studied in the modern laboratory. A few of the paranormal phenomena considered were readily explained by a slightly speculative application of known physical effects. Others, however, required the application of physical principles which are not yet in contemporary physics textbooks. In particular, I discovered that much of the mystery of the paranormal is interwoven with the mystery of the UFO phenomena. To state the matter bluntly, little or no progress can be made in interpreting most paranormal phenomena UNTIL one has made considerable progress in interpreting the UFO phenomena! Fortunately, I AM one of the few individuals who can claim to have made some progress in the UFO field, especially with regards to the matters of UFO propulsion and secondary effects. It is the application of these discoveries in the UFO field to various, seemingly impossible, paranormal phenomena which allows rapid progress to be made in understanding them. It is my hope that this new theory of the paranormal will not only revitalize the entire subject at the research level, but will, one day, allow many of the effects treated to be artifcially produced for the benefit of all mankind.

About the Author:

Kenneth W. Behrendt has been a lifelong student of phenomena in the fields of ufology and the paranormal. Although professionally trained as a chemist, he has been investigating and writing about the UFO phenomenon since the early 1980's. After a personal experience with telepathy in 1978, his interest in the paranormal also intensified. Noting that many of the terrestrial paranormal effects seemed to also have their counter-parts in the UFO phenomena, he has managed to successfully merge these two areas of inquiry by finding common physical mechanisms inherent to them. He currently resides in suburban New Jersey where he continues his researches in the areas of ufology, paranormal phenomena, and free energy physics.
