"This volume is the best basic molecular virology book I have seen in a while. It's an excellent resource, primarily written for students, but will also be of great use to more experienced researchers who are new to a particular field of virology... I cannot recommend this book more highly." Christopher Ring, Glaxo SmthKline R&D, Microbiology Today, March 2004
Published Reviews of the 2nd Edition
"This book offers an excellent forum for both students and instructors to examine the world of virology. I would not hesitate using this book in an upper level undergraduate class or as a foundation text coupled with a current literature for a basic virology course for graduate students."
Nancy D.Hanson, PhD(Creighton University)
