About the Author

Kent K. Hu, MD, MPH, is an Infectious Disease Fellow at the University of Washington. He graduated from Yale Medical Schooll and is a Diiplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine. He has co-authored numerous journal articles.
Heidi M. Crane, MD, MPH is also an Infectious Diseasse Fellow at the University of Washington, where she also graduated from Medical School and received here MPH degree.She is certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine and a member of the Infectious Disease Society of America.
Dr. Samir Shah, Infectious Disease Specialist from Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is one of the threee co-authors and developed the plan for this book. Dr. Shah has completed one book for Blackwell and is in process of co-authoring a resident level book for Blackwell. He also was a contributor on Blueprints Pediatrics.
